Vikram Readymix Concrete Co. is looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer (Lab) with 7–8 years of experience in Commercial RMC operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, laboratory testing, and ensuring compliance with IS codes and customer specifications.
📝 Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily quality control operations at RMC plant laboratory
Conduct and supervise raw material & concrete testing (cement, aggregates, admixtures, fresh & hardened concrete)
Ensure compliance with IS Codes (IS 456, IS 10262, IS 383, etc.)
Monitor mix designs, trial mixes, and production quality
Maintain test reports, records, and documentation
Coordinate with production, batching plant, and site teams for quality issues
Handle customer complaints related to concrete quality and provide corrective actions
Ensure calibration of lab equipment and proper lab housekeeping
Support audits and quality certifications if required
🎓 Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Certification in QA/QC will be an added advantage
💼 Experience Required
7–8 years of relevant experience
Mandatory experience in Commercial Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) industry
Strong exposure to plant laboratory operations
💼 Skills Required
Strong knowledge of RMC quality control procedures
Hands-on experience with lab testing & reporting
Familiar with Indian Standards (IS Codes)
Good coordination & communication skills
Ability to work independently and handle pressure
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reports, emails)
